We are non-profitable, grassroots football club and are England Football Accredited.

Prior to 2018 the club was a village based outfit called Highmoor-Ibis and was a men's team running a 1st team plus a reserve team, and the decision to change to Reading City Football Club was not taken lightly, however the community of Reading yearned for a semi-professional club behind Reading Football Club to represent Reading and give local players the opportunity to play for a Reading based team as Reading City..

Since moving to a new home at Scours Lane, four years on and were now at the very heart of the community with a bustling youth section which contains over twenty teams from the age of 7 to 18 and three senior teams which play semi-professional mens football. and Steps 5 & 7.

Whilst our youth teams start at the age of seven, a youngsters journey can start with the Cityzens at the age of four, thanks to our weekly development centre.

All profits from the lottery will be used to help finance the cost of running the club including equipment and our community stadium,  also a 4G playing surface for private and public use, ensuring that Reading has a grassroots football team and facilities that the community can be proud off for generations to come. Here at Reading City Football Club, we are inclusive of all ethnic backgrounds, gender, religion, and sexual orientation. We are totally committed to our community.

How it works

The Lottery results are calculated using the temperatures from selected destinations around Europe on a particular day each week.

Players are assigned 6 numbers when registering, that are then checked against the last 6 digits of temperatures in Fahrenheit that are published in the Daily Mail on the day of the draw.
