The Earl Haig Fund Scotland was founded in 1921 to give practical help in time of need to all who served in the Armed Forces, their families and dependents.
Funds raised are used to:
Relieve distress among ex-Service men, women and their dependents who live in Scotland.
Provide sheltered employment for disabled ex-Service men.
Provide a retirement home for ex-Service men in Glasgow.
Fund the Pensions Department of the Royal British Legion Scotland.
€ Give financial assistance to other ex-Service charities.
How it works
The Lottery results are calculated using the temperatures from selected destinations around Europe on a particular day each week.
Players are assigned 6 numbers when registering, that are then checked against the last 6 digits of temperatures in Fahrenheit that are published in the Daily Mail on the day of the draw.
