297 (Musselburgh) Squadron of the Air Training Corps is the only organisation for the air minded young in East Lothian.
Its aims are:
To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
To provide training which will be useful both in the Service and in civilian life.
To foster the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
Contrary to popular belief, it is not completely funded by the Government and more and more of our activities and running costs have to be met from our own fund raising resources.
Many of the young people we cater for have to travel long distances at high transport costs, therefore deterring a lot of them from being able to avail themselves of our activities. Our operating costs are also continually rising and we have to rely more and more on our own fund raising resources.
Your help by taking part in this Lottery not only gives you the opportunity of winning cash prizes but will go a long way to helping us to help the young people in our community. Your support will be greatly appreciated by one and all.
The Squadron is registered with the Inland Revenue as a recognised Scottish Charity
No. SCO 24664
How it works
The Lottery results are calculated using the temperatures from selected destinations around Europe on a particular day each week.
Players are assigned 6 numbers when registering, that are then checked against the last 6 digits of temperatures in Fahrenheit that are published in the Daily Mail on the day of the draw.
